GIS-501 Intro to ArcGIS-1:GIS Tools 30 This course, taught by a certified ESRI instructor, is an overview of the various applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Learn how to do GIS analysis. ArcGIS software is used to display spatial data (maps), manage data layers, tables and layouts. Hands on exercises will provide practical experience in use of GIS in government planning, ag and other fields. Students will be able to do simple GIS analysis for local gov't. or business. There will be no class on 11/24/10.
